Philmont, NY. I happened to catch a very faint rainbow when the sun popped out for several minutes from behind the clouds.

looks good. nice capture on that rainbow too. about how high would you say that is?

I think it's no more than 15 feet high. I found it difficult to shoot because a street passes very near to the dam, probably about 25 feet away. You can see a bit of the bridge in the lower corner of the picture. On the other side of the bridge you'd see where the creek flows past an old factory building. The creek goes around the bend to High Falls.

Rightfully I should post this in 'Ruins', but here's a view of the factory. It looked like someone had started renovations on it then quit. The building seemed in pretty good shape.

Since the structure looks straight and true for the most part, I wonder what circumstances triggered this notice...

As I've already misbehaved by posting pictures of an old factory in the wrong place I might as well set myself up for a stern admonishment by posting a picture of High Falls, since I mentioned it earlier. I took this later the same day.
