	Buttermilk Falls	Map	A series of short and wide cascades on the Raquette River totaling nearly 40 feet. Probably one of the most popular waterfalls in the Adirondacks. There is also an interesting elevation phenomenon, in which the river appear to be elevated above the surrounding bedrock.	Series of rapids and small cascades.

	Rochester Falls   High Falls -Map   Middle Falls/Dam- Map   Lower Falls- Map		The 3 historic falls in the heart of the City of Rochester. Heavily used and easily accessible.  The upper falls anchors the High Falls district, with its many restaurants, bars and historic mill sites. The High Falls site contains a museum documenting the history of the site and the Brown's Race (a man-made diversion) runs through it. Laser light shows run regularly during the summer.	3 falls
