Learn more about the
New York City Waterfall Project |
Mon.,
May 12
- Driving around Keuka Lake
makes for a great day. There is plenty to do and to see. The
area has a rich history with landmarks and museums in every
corner. The wine industry has always thrived here. Even
during prohibition, when it adapted and sold bottled grape
juice- with complimentary fermenting instructions of course.
We have a new
Photo Challenge
this month. Enter any photo you have taken of any Flowers
and if we like it, you may win a prize. You can enter as
many photos as you'd like. The only rules: 1: it has to be
taken by you. 2: it has to be taken in Upstate NY. Give it a
shot. Any photo can win.
By request, I opened up a section of the
NYFalls.com
Print Store that features
Black and
White photos. New (color) photos will be added soon.

The
New York City Waterfall Project
will bring 4 man-made waterfalls to the city this summer as
part of a public art project. Reaching 90 to 120 feet
in height, the falls will adorn the
East River and New York Harbor. The New York City Waterfalls
will be visible by land and boat, and because of their
proximity to one another, viewers will be able to see
multiple waterfalls from various vantage points in
Manhattan, Brooklyn and Governors Island. Check NYFalls.com
often for updates on this exciting project. |
