Great photo. Excellent composition.
About how long is the walk to the falls from the parking area?

Not far at all. Maybe only 1/8 mile on a very flat, even path.
I was wondering what this falls would look like from down in the gorge but didn't have time to look for a way down, if there was one.

there was a small blurb in the latest issue of The Conservationist about a Ranger catching some who where appying grafitti to the gorge at the base of the falls. It mentions nothing of clean-up.

My girlfriend and her friend went there this past weekend. Falls looks about the same (three small separate flows).
They were less than impressed with the hiking scene...not many trails, and not very long.
Here's another text of it:

I've also noticed more waterfalls on the Salmon River as I've been up fishing there nearly every weekend (sorry, no waterfall shots during steelhead season).
Here's a shot!
