I'd love to go back there.

I'm up for it. It should probably be late spring. (late May/early June) to let the water level drop off a bit. There's a lot of creekwalking involved there.

Chris, shall we add the word difficult before the word creekwalking in your post? Like you said depends on water level - but water level determines how nice the falls look too. It is a catch 22. Too high and the creek crossing is very tough but the falls are awesome. Too low and the falls are almost dry.

The storm in August changed the creek some! Piles of new stones at the confluence.

How many falls are accesible? I went late last summer, and only saw where 2 would have been should there have been water in them. Even then there was 2 branches that we couldnt cross or walk in.

How interested are people in visiting these falls? I am a member of the NSSWNY and was approached by one of the board members (also a photographer) about photographing these falls. I have yet to do it, but if there was an interested group I'm sure that after the spring runoff we could set something up. I personally am not to keen on them keeping everyone, even members away. Hopefully we will see this change in the future. Even without access to this property though, $10 is a heck of a deal for a family membership.

Yes, this is true about the falls on the north side of the main branch. There are a few falls you can see that don't involve treacharous crossings. Gossamer Cascade (my favorite in the valley) and there's another one across the south branch from Gossamer that I forget the name of right now.

Yes, definitely! I've been a member for a few years now. They own a few other areas in the WNY area that are interesting to visit.
