Horton Falls is surrounded by private property and most of it is prominently posted. Recently I obtained permission from a property owner to visit his property and was able to get a picture of the falls. Out of the picture, upstream to the left, I believe there's an old dam that's still intact. The falls are located on Vly Creek, which runs under Krumkill Road in the town of Slingerlands in Albany County.
