Rocky Falls, Essex County

This one is listed, but no topic is linked, so here's a topic.

Oh, and some pictures, too. We were there late September, at the height of the fall color season. A pretty easy hike, as it's just at the upper end of Indian Pass so there's not much uphill.

Here's an HDR of the general area, which didn't turn out too bad.

You can walk past the falls, then rock hop across the stream to where the leanto is, then down the rocks to get a better, full on view of the falls. They aren't very high, 10-15 feet at most.

I missed this one. Excellent first shot. Really good array of colors and a superb composition. I can't tell it's an HDR... and that i like!
Thanks for posting this.

loved this waterfall when we visited it a cpl years ago. your HDR attempt rendered it very nicely. the day i visited was blue skies & sunny (looks like you had the same) - a lovely day for the hike, but bad for waterfalls in general, & this waterfall especially, as it placed the waterfall in shade. it was too much contrast to capture.
