It's that time!!! Get the feeders cleaned and hung! I just fill the sink with hot water, add some Dawn and a touch of bleach. I use a bottle brush to clean the jars and the feeding holes, and rinse well with hot water. The recipe is just 4 parts water to one part sugar--bring to a boil and cool completely before filling the feeders. Or, you can just buy the nectar! :)

I just had my first visitor! A male was at the feeder on my office porch!

I'll have to put my feeder out, haven't goten arounf to it yet. I hang my feeder by the pound with all the other flowers around I get a good turn out of hummers

It's that time folks! I've not seen any yet, but I've had my feeders up for about a week now as a pit stop for the ones traveling north.

Just put one up and now we'll wait and see. It's a yearly contest in our home to see who spots that first Hummingbird.
