Weast Road Cascade

One advantage of traveling about by bike - you can hear the sound of falling water much more easily than traveling by car. This roadside cascade I discovered while riding up Weast Road in Mariaville. I would guess this is a seasonal cascade, given how it looks now after so much rain. The stream descends about fifteen feet or so in six steps, none larger than three feet. It approaches the road, turns, runs parallel to the road, then turns back away. This small cascade might be all of ten feet from the left side of the road as you travel up the hill. 42.821068, -74.085437. Because of the turn in the stream bed, I had to take two pictures.
