Indeed! Hmm, I dont do wine...but perhaps a trip to a winery is in order. Jess will have fun at least.

Do you do spirits? Don't forget that part. And you don't have to take any of it literally.hobkyl wrote: Hmm, I dont do wine...

Good timing with this challenge...I just took my son and girlfriend, who were visiting from Taiwan, on a wine tasting tour around Keuka Lake. Vivi is a bit of an expert on wines...she represents an importer in Taiwan and goes around the country selling to cafes, bars, restaurants, clubs, etc. She was very interested in tasting some NYS wines and seeing what the wineries here are like. She thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Here are a few pictures I took during the day we spent on the trail.

Thanks, Kelly.
As you can see, I'm always more interested in taking pictures of people doing things...than of "things".
I was kind of documenting their day as we made the rounds.
And since my job was to take the pictures (and drive)...I wasn't doing any tasting.
The wineries are all very picturesque though...I took a lot of photos and will post a few more later.

nice set. We should do a NYFalls wine tour. Start in August and get home some time in late September.
They are a blast.

Thanks Matt & David.
I like the idea of a NYFalls wine tour...and next time I go, I will NOT be the Designated Driver.
Where is everyone else on this challenge? Still out on the trail?
Here are a few more pictures from wineries around Keuka Lake. The last three are of the museum at Bully Hill. If you haven't ever toured it and learned the fascinating and inspiring story of Walter Taylor, the founder...you must check it out. He was an artist, hippie and awesome entrepreneur. The museum is a wonderful tribute to him and his work. It's an amazing story.
