It actually seems, from me looking in the past, that it is cheaper to stay on the Canadian side? I haven't checked in a while, but last time I peeked into it, it seemed that way. Is it still so?

yes, because there are more options... though I'm sure there is a cheap crack house on the US side that can put you up for a few nights.

By next weekend (looking at the date you posted it), do you mean this weekend upcoming? I don't think I could pull it off as I have a commitment Sunday, but I'm still interested in doing this sometime at the end of the summer/fall.

Yeah, that date I posted won't work anymore. Truthfully, until the full-time job comes ringing, I'm probably not going to consider this trip. Too much dealing with some other things. Hopefully the full-time thing will happen soon.
