That works too. Is the Redwood in Naples?

yep. Right on the corner of 53 and 21. They make a better garbage plate than Nick Tahou's.

Ahhhh.. Nick's... I miss Nick's!! Been too long...

Anyway ... I'm down with the 8th, and I'd also prefer an afternoon/evening hike as I'd be getting out of work at 6 that morning, and it's a 2 hour drive for me. I'd like to grab a quick nap before heading out. ;)

Actually, they're known as Stevie T's now.

It has indeed been too long. I left Rochester in 1998, and last time I had a garbage plate while visiting was late 2006. I don't remember if the sign said Nick's or Stevie T's -- I just drove there on autopilot. ;)

I'll be bringing rope, if we find we need it to get above any falls. Maybe this would be a good time to explore the upper reaches of the creek. And first aid kit too.
I will also have 3 50ft hunks of smallish rope (not really "climbing" rope, but enough to support you in a pinch) as well as a first aid kit. I'd like to suggest we also make an effort to clean up a bit .. I'll bring a few large trash sacks to toss junk into.

Has there been an agreement on a time yet? I'm good with any time after 1pm.
