Stewed pork? Sounds and looks delish!

I was supposed to use 1" thick chops per the recipe, but we always buy the thin cut ones. Very delicately I sliced them open and stuffed.

The dark flecks are something. Anise probably. This is basically a very liquorishy dish.
I used fatty loin. stirfried first, then stewed for about an hour. Instead of adding ground sichuan pepper, I just used some Sriracha sauce to bring the heat.
