Yellow squash from some local farm and tiny carrots from Denis at Lakestone Family Farm. Sauteed in peanut oil and drizzled with maple syrup from somewhere in Pavilion.

I'm really behind on posting in this topic. Here's one from my extended birthday weekend dinner at Maestro's in Saratoga Springs. It was over the top in so many ways - but you only turn 30 once!

Everything flatbread with a cannelini bean pesto spread & a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Loved this!

5 Onion Bisque - out of this world - I will be trying to crack the recipe code
Image

Molasses & Grainy Breads with butter that had Hawaiian sea salt sprinkled on top! New one on me! Yum!
Image
Image

Lobster macaroni and cheese - smooth, creamy and filled with lobster!
Image

All of the above with some South African white wine.
And then apparently the birthday girl gets dessert - on the house. How could I say no?
Pumpkin cheesecake and coffee......

I've barely eaten since.

Earlier this month.
Chili.
I substitute this for ground beef in pretty much all this type of stuff and no one ever realizes it.

Beet greens, red peppers, garlic and pesto with spaghetti - plus a dash of honey, sea salt and balsamic vinegar. I do love my veggies...

 "Don't let me die skinny..." I can't even begin to tell you how timely that video was! I asked for fried chicken for lunch and Mike misunderstood me. He came home with sliced turkey instead.
