Fishing has been hit or miss on either the Salmon River or some of the smaller tribs that have brief moments of being opened (most are closed because of ice). Hit about 8 fish in 4 days of fishing. Smaller baits - trout beads, small egg sacks. The week before we hit a weekday and the fishing was great - but again, hit or miss with the fish. Some of them are starting to spawn, making the bite slow.







My biggest one to date - 35", 16lbs

nice fish, nice photos. Especially the ones where they are held up to the camera like that.
