Ludlowville Falls is a nice one to visit when in the Ithaca area. It's interesting to see the chunk of rock at the right side of the base that's had a hole gouged out of it from years of water spraying onto it.

Ludlowville Falls is right on Salmon Creek - the 'famed' fishery for the native Landlocked Atlantic Salmon that still spawn there in the fall.

Maybe in time we can add a fishing element to most of these pages, since most of them sit on a nice fishery.

I lived in Lansing for a few years before I met Mike. I have many fond memories of Salmon Creek and Myers Park. It was neat being able to return there when I was with the DEC and walk the creek from the park to the falls. We were doing lamprey nest counts at the time. It's a very pretty place.

I went out for a while today and took some shots ... I took this just before I fell and sprain my wrist in the mud ... (Thank God for camera straps .. :D, or my camera would have paid the price .. it slipped right out of my hand. ) The water flow with all the melt off was excellent today.

Nice shots. I hope your wrist is okay though!
