Maplewood park and the lower falls park are great for a stroll. They do tours between the 2 parks too. Middle falls will pose a challenge to photograph since it's inacessible and you can barely see it from the lower falls park.

Human remains found at Maplewood Park

Police were called to the scene of yet another gruesome discovery at Rochester's river gorge. Sunday night, a hiker found human remains in Maplewood Park. Police describe the remains as bones. This comes just one day after a human skull was found in the same area. Saturday afternoon a man taking a walk in Maplewood Park found a skull with no lower jaw in the river gorge. police believe the skull had been decomposed for about two months. Investigators will not say if the cases are connected.

Police and emergency crews searched the river gorge area for several hours for any other clues. News 10 NBC called the medical examiner's office, but officials there are not allowed to comment at this time. Police say an anthropoligst will probably be called in to help identify the remains.
