Thank you all for the comments. :)
To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams.

Yeah, I agree but I was also trying to capture what was reflecting in the water, unfortunately it didn't show up in the photo as well as I would have liked.

as far as your light and shadow photo. I find it very interesting. I like how the shadow, at first, would seem to be coming from the branch subject and falling on the water below- which is typical of a shot like that. But it's not it's actually from a branch above. It confuses my mind and makes me look again. - Very nice. That's exactly what a good photo does. It needs a tighter crop though.

Thanks Matt. I really haven't spent much time on editing any of these shots and may go back and work with them later. I recently purchased Photoshop Elements 6 (because it was on sale) and haven't experimented with it very much. I'm a warm weather person and plan on spending a lot of time working with my shots over the Winter. Therefore I am stockpiling as many shots as possible during the warm months so I will have plenty to work with. Not to say that I am not excited about getting some Winter shots because I am. I didn't really start this photography venture until April of this year so all my shots are of Spring, Summer and Fall so I need some Winter shots in my collection.
I appreciate the feed back from everyone.

Bill - your Public Market shots are really nice! Wait......is that Sarah Palin's head there in the basket of peppers? ;)
