I was looking into buying one of these and was curious about them.
It's a one-year pass, but does it cover a season or a full calendar year?
For example, if I bought one now, would it carry over to next spring/summer, or would I need to get another one at the start of the 2009 season? If so, it would probably be silly for me to buy one this year and I'll just wait until next year being as it seems like many of the parks don't charge much past Labor Day.
Thanks for any info!

If you bought one now it would expire March 31 09. so it is not for a year- they are all dated the same. I buy one in April and then apply some of this stuff to make it "transferrable"

It pays for itself if you head over to Niagara Falls and visit all the parks there.

I think I'll wait until next year to buy one so I get a full year out of it. I might not hit enough parks until the "off-season" this year to pay for it.

Normally it's a permanent sticker.
So I put that clear plastic 're-sticakable' stuff on the back and then I can peel it off one car and put it on the other.

Matt,
Can you repost a link to the "stuff" to make the pass "transferrable" ? I have two vehicles and can not justify two passes and being forced to drive only one of our vehicles sucks. I use my truck to launch the canoe at state parks but drive the car otherwise to conserve fuel.
Thanks
