I learned that I enjoy having Fridays off and will make that my future goal.

One summer I had enough vacation time saved up... and I had no plans to take any week-long vacations, so I took Fridays off and had 3 days weekends all summer. It was great.

Green pool water does not stop my neighbors from using their pool on a hot day.

:greedy: I learned that while there are ways in which it is legal to print money, Adobe, and possibly my ink jet printer, wants no part of it.

A client wants to do a promotional insert that has the front of a $10 bill on one side and text on the other. This is perfectly legal as long as the image is no larger than 75% of actual size or no smaller than 150% of actual size. So I tried to scan a $10 bill I had on hand, and Photoshop gives me a warning message about how "This application does not support the printing of banknote images." You can scan it, edit it, save it, but you can't print it "as is."

:bang: I searched every resource I could find, tried every trick suggested, but when I went to print, the printer spit out a blank page. The only thing I could get to print is an image that I photographed at a slight angle (too much for the effect the client wants).

Now I think it's great to thwart counterfeiting, but not being able to do a perfectly legal task is a bit frustrating. :headshake:

I've suggested a different approach to my client, one that I think will actually better serve their purposes, but I'll have to wait until Monday to see what they think.

I just learned from Angel's post that my early retirement scheme won't work. :cryaway:
To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams.
