There's an exhibit here
http://www.most.org/
about the geology in the region and there is a hugely blown up photo of mine, Pratts Falls, used somehow to illustrate it.

I went up a few years ago... not sure for how long though.

I got an e-mail about Hallmark's latest greeting card contest and thought some of you would be interested in it: "Remember When" Birthday Card Contest

They run contests on a regular basis, so if this one doesn't interest you (perhaps because you might be more likely to be the subject of the photo rather than the photographer), you might just bookmark the page.

For the current entry fee of $5 any "amateur or enthusiast photographer" can enter to win a Canon 5D Mark II body! It is completely legitimate and Jessica herself will call to ask which prize you would like should your photo be selected as the Grand Prize winner. It is a bit of a lottery as the entries pay for the prize, but it has far greater odds than any New York Lotto, and based on your photographic skill you can even further increase your chances. If anyone would like more information on the contest just send me a message or check out the site. I fully recommend you try it out if you have faith in your photos.

Just got around to looking through my Winter issue of Life in the Finger Lakes magazine and saw that cascade won the grand prize in this year's photo contest! Awesome. Congrats to you, Charles!!
