Caught yesterday 12/22 on the Salmon River. 12lb Steelhead. Blue Egg Sacks floated under a bobber.

I caught this 26lb Coho in the "Lower Meadows" pool of the Salmon River just east of the estuary. He was caught on a size 6 fly (pattern=Dave's SA) on 1X 9lb tippet (leader) on September 27th, 2007. The fish was weighed on 2 different scales and verified before release. Yes, I did say "release" right there. Would've been a record, but I always practice catch-and-release with trout and salmon.
Here is a painting done by a friend Josie Etter (http://sketchandrelease.com). It is full-scale, therefore I still cannot afford a frame for it.
