Located near New Hope, NY at the southern end of Skaneateles Lake. This is the main falls, located downstream from this first one about a mile:

Awesome Shots! The exposure is perfect. What kind of camera are you using?
That first one looks almost identical to Tinkers Falls (only without the debris).

So there are 2 falls at the location called Carpenters Falls?
I have to get down there.
I hope in the future to partner with the FLLT to help promote more stewardships like the one for this land.

Using an Olympus E-300, gotta love the four-thirds system...mconheady wrote:Awesome Shots! The exposure is perfect. What kind of camera are you using?

The best part about Carpenters Falls is you can swim right under the big one (the one on the top). There's a nice deep 6 foot pool that feels great after hiking there in the summer...
Another good place for waterfalls is down either Cayuga or Owaso Lakes, heading towards Ithaca or Moravia...lots of hidden gems in people's back yards

If you could, submit some Google Earth pinpoints for those "hidden gems"
