December Photo Challenge: Christmas Trees

Postby Matt » Sat Dec 01, 2007 9:33 pm

The purpose of these challenges are to encourage us to get out and get the best shot of an assigned subject. It's a great way to enhance your photography skills.
Even if you think you take crappy pictures, please join in. Those of you just reading the forum and not posting, this is your chance to join in and show off.

This month's challenge: Christmas Trees

Although you could take a shot from your couch for this month's challenge, don't be limited to what's in your living room. Any tree, indoor or out, counts here. Decorated or not. Close-up, far away- doesn't matter... just be creative.

The only other rule... it has to be taken in upstate NY. There are no other rules.

This month's winner will get a NYFalls.com mousepad.

(also I'll be shipping previous month's winner's mousepads this upcomming week... finally the new pads arrived!)

That is cool. My mom had one of those trees for years. I'm not sure who ended up with it.

I hope this is acceptable, even though I took it last year. It's unedited, although I think I could crop a better one.

Nice tree! if you look closely it kind of looks like it's reaching over the couch.
