Hey Matt:

I haven't been to your site for a while, but that Paper Mill falls looks like graffti falls. Do you think it tarnished your photos?

We visited Paper Mill Falls in 2003. Yeah the graffiti kind of stinks. The falls itself is fairly pretty though. In my NYS Gazeteer there's a "Triphammer Falls" about a mile upstream. I can't remember why we didn't look for it. It was getting late in the day or it was inaccessable. I don't know.

I haven't posted in this forum since last September I think! Fantasy Football happened, house repairs happened, a freak October snowstorm here in Buffalo happened, holidays happened. I hope to catch up on all the topics this weekend.

not to be confused with Triphammer Falls in Cornell, topo maps apparently do indicate another Triphammer falls upstream closer to Triphammer Road

In my photos the graffiti actually brought some unique color to the standard waterfall photo.

After checking out your pictures I noticed I had completely forgotten about that grindstone wheel embedded into the side of the bridge. I remember seeing that back when we were there and thinking that was interesting.

i think upstate NY's rock composition really makes for such great waterfall selection around here...good point
