Stopped out here on Monday...first time visit. Nice falls, and only a short walk to the base if youre up to it...otherwise the platform view is more than sufficient. Unfortunately I visited during periods of driving rain so I didnt stay long.


Matt-Contrary to your belief that Wayne Co may be the flattest co. in NY...in all actaullity Wayne is quite hilly. Granted it doesnt have many gullies, but it is littered with drumlins left over from glacial retreat.

I was at Wolcott Falls in early October 2010. It's a very nice falls to view I think. It seems to me this falls is one to visit 4 times a year if in neighborhood, because of the water flow and surroundings change the view so much. Maybe I'll go back to it in winter and view then too !
