Nice Kelly. Now be honest. Where did you get the high tech hiking footware? And does one need to take out a 2nd mortgage to get these!

Oh any good outdoor store carries them. They're those new invisible steel toe, extra support flip flops. And no - no second mortgage. They actually cost less than a gallon of Wegman's apple cider - which is something like $20 this year.

After seeing this post, I took the trek up north from Queens, NY. Almost didn't find it because the historic sign is facing north on the south bound side of route 22. Definately worth seeing this cavern and a nice walk through the trails. Just make sure that as you get closer you are very careful because the rocks are very slippery. You can find a nice rock to sit on and wet your feet on a very hot day, maybe even take a dip if you can find a good spot without the water pushing you over. Took my Canon 6D and shot a few nice pics.

That's fantastic! Glad it was worth the trip! I'd love to see your shots of this beautiful place! I don't recall the marker being positioned oddly. And I just realized we never provided the link to our entry for Dover Stone Chruch on NYHistoric.com. There's signage pictured there.
I get out that way a couple of times a year, and it's definitely somewhere I'd like to see again. So . . . your pics! Let's see them!
