Was anyone brave enough to go in the heat today? We're about 5 miles from the airport, so in our yard we've been able to photograph the Blue Angels during their Thursday and Friday practices and today's show. I pried my camera out of Zach's hands about an hour ago and had a chance to get a few decent shots - maybe. Will post later. In the meantime, anyone else have anything to share?
Ventured over there this morning...but didn't see much. Show seemed to be slow going. Although I guess they had all day and we didn't. Only stayed an hour, camera stayed in the car. But I did catch the Angels flying over 490 yesterday and almost got into an accident as the guy next to me forgot he was driving and was staring up through his sunroof.

Ha. Thanks Kyle. You gave me an idea. I'm always looking for the next challenge, so today, I'm borrowing a car with a sunroof and going to see if I can shoot similar views while driving!
I was thinking about shooting this even, but since I have terrible luck with bird, it seemed a given that I would fail at planes too. Great shots, Kelly.
