Thanks for the kind words everyone. I was kind of on edge both literally and figuratively for that shot! I felt like if I walked in just the right spot that the rocks would collapse underneath me. I'm 200lbs and theres really no way to determine the structural integrity of the ground underneath you in that spot! If you go there please be cautious of that as well as trying not to fall over the edge. If you go back up the hill and walk down the field a few hundred feet further there is another ledge that appears to be safer. I got a few good shots from there as well but prefer this one over those..

Cheers,

Mike

Ice on display. And Robins. Go figure. Like 100+ robins in Mid february. They eat the moss from the running water that seeps through this beauty; and so they must somehow winter here. A wild sight. If i could post the video you would doubt it was early February. A unique anomaly (last pic, right side).

Beautiful photos David! Another falls I was supposed to make to last year but never did.

Visited last Friday... so pretty! It started pouring so I couldn't stay long but I'm glad I could see it :) I'm not a professional, but this is the best shot I could get. I loved the colors!

That's a great perspective. I was there for my first time on a hot summer day and there were at least 20 people in the water below, so i couldn't get a decent shot. You got there at the right time it seems. Thanks for sharing.
