I just felt the floor shake. 5 mins later GINNA plant paging system confirmed that the plant is in an earthquake preparedness state (whatever that means)!

:( I was driving and missed it.
I am strong, because I've been weak.
I am fearless, because I've been afraid.
I am wise, because I've been foolish.

I have the AC on in my office, so the whole building is vibrating anyway! I totally missed it--bummer.

Although 13WHAM was the first online to break the story....they were wrong. It was centered north of Ottawa.

I felt it... thought it was the workshop below the office. It was basically no noise.... just my corner office vibrating... and it continued to resonate for about 2 minutes after. Kind of cool.

I was eating lunch and watching TV when the house started to shake. I assumed it was an earthquake (knew they could be felt here sometimes). I called my husband, who works on the west side, and he didn't feel anything, which made me wonder if it was some other event south of me. Saw the news report about 20 minutes later.

I thought it was the washing machine in the next room shaking the place during the spin cycle, not that I ever felt it doing that before, this is a big building, but that's what it reminded me of. That's the third earthquake I remember having experienced. The first I was in high school, and it woke me up, the second was about 8 years ago and that one also woke me up.
