I was back here this past weekend. Ice has completely formed a shell over the face of these falls. You can juuuuust about hear the water flowing behind the ice, and the plunge pool is mostly frozen solid.

FINALLY got to these falls during even lighting conditions on the evening of Friday 4/30/10. There are 2 more medium-size drops (~8-10ft) beyond what can be seen in these pics as the falls goes around a slight bend in the stream starting at the crest.

The recent rains have really kicked the falls up a couple notches. These are the shots I've wanted to get for a long time. The first and third are stitched together from two shots each.

This is the least obstructed view from the roadside. The "falls" in the lower part falls through a sluice pipe that goes under the road (right under my feet as it was in this picture).

Get down in the gully, and this is what you can see. As I've said before, there is more above this than you can see here. It would be very tricky to get up there to get good shots with this amount of flow, and I was not in _that_ adventerous a mood today. :)
