I actually think this one would be worthy of a profile - it's a wonderful waterfall and very nice creekwalk

I'm not sure of the status of the property at the mouth of the creek. I'm pretty sure that it's owned by the cottage to the right if you're facing the lake. I know he doesn't let people smelt there, but I'm not sure how he feels about hikers. He's a lifelong resident of the Wyers Point area so he would be able to clarify any ownership questions. Just PM me if you want his name and number.

indeed - we didn't enter via his property, we entered in the lot of 33 (per the Seneca County tax maps) which is unposted abandoned farmland...

What is the concensus on entering vacant farm land? I do see what you are talking about on Seneca's Real Property website....lot 33. However there is an owner listed as well. Only a vague address on Rt 96 Interlaken is listed. Did you drop down in from the road then?

Yea. Wasn't posted, so I went down through that lot down a steep bank into the stream bed directly.

Hey Kyle, can you post the link to that site? I probably know the owner. I'd like to nose around the site anyway. ;)
