We drove the loop on our way to Auburn this morning and I have to say that of all of the times that I've made that drive throughout my life today was without question the worst, viewing wise. The only cool things that we saw were the osprey nests on 5&20 and 89, and we didn't have to drive the loop to see those. The main pool is drained right now, so we didn't even see one single duck. There were a few geese nesting on the back stretch along the thruway (BFD). It was a total waste of time, at 15 mph no less. Bummer.
