A note from the NYFalls.com founder:
Due to a company restructuring, I will be losing my full time job soon. Although it saddens me to leave the company that I have helped build up for the last 14 years to the success it is today, I am looking forward to new opportunities. I am known for my technical, managerial, and creative abilities, and I hope to utilize all of those talents in my next career. I put together a résumé outlining my skills and projects. Please have a look. Although I am open to any management position, I would like to leverage my experience and success with NYFalls.com and NYHistoric.com into a career in the WNY travel/tourism industry. If you know of a company that would benefit from someone with talents and experience, please spread the word. Thank you for your help and support.

NYFalls Outing Ideas

Post any outing ideas, including suggested locations, here.

I was thinking of a monthly outing coinciding with the photo challenge topic of the month.

Sounds like a wild idea and pending the dates/times, I'd be interested for sure.

A "still life" outing at Genesee County Museum and Village or Fort Niagara?

With Halloween just around the corner how about a graveyard visit?
To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams.

I have always wondered what creative things I could do in Mt. Hope lots of opportunities in there.

The old subway tunnels is another area of the City I would like to explore. Has anyone ever been down there? and if so, how did you get in?

I'd be interested to car-pool to Letchworth.
Could meet at Marketplace mall Henrietta before sun-up
Possible open dates 9/28, 10/5, 10/7, 10/11

Alternate ideas: Oatka Park or Mendon Ponds Park, same dates, easier travels.

10/11 - would not be good. The arts fest will be going on and the park will be packed.
