Since the other post no longer has pictures I'll add it here.

Stockbridge Falls is located in Munsville, NY just off route 46 between Oneida and Hamilton. The falls is located on Falls Rd. which is off Stockbridge Falls Rd. There is a pull off for two cars. There was no posted signs along the road but I'm sure it's on private land. There is a smaller falls on the down stream side of the bridge but covered with trees (no good picture). This link will show Falls Rd.

This is what you can see from the road.

I live in Stockbridge ;) Some of this is on private land, some is not. I frequently walk right in the falls, take my dog in and everything (On a leash of course). I never seen any postings there. You can walk up the trail to the right of the falls. If you walk up the trail , eventually (not too far) you'll come across an abandonded camp. Go through it to the bridge, cross it to the other camp. Maybe not an abandond one, but no-one there in a while. A road of sorts takes you back down to the road on the other side of the falls. Maybe 15 minutes or so to walk the whole thing if your not stopping to check anything out. I like to go there and just hangout listening to the water and watching the dog play in the falls. He LOVES IT!!! :dog:

Hello,

I love the Stockbridge Falls pictures. I was born and raised in Stockbridge New York. My parents would take us to the falls on the weekend in the summer and we would play for hours on the different levels. It was just a locals hangout and everyone around went there. I am sad to see that it is not open to the public anymore. We used to catch crabs, and craw fish. The falls rocks were so smooth thatyou could just slide down them...I am thankful for your wonderful photgraphy and the memories it brought to me. Thank You , Susan Smith Moore :)
