Pending on a day you choose, the Syracuse thing I might be interested in driving up for. Seems kind of cool -- but they call it a drive-thru. Does that mean no walking and stopping for photos?

It is a drive through.
You can stop your car to take photos from the window.

I was in the Syracuse region yesterday and decided to check out "lights on the Lake" - Pretty good. Doesn't cater well to photographs. I think I got a decent bunch of shots.

how about an outing on the 27 or 28th? Durand Eastman Park?

Count me in for Durand.

It's not looking good for me. I think the snow will all be gone and it'll most likely be raining too.
