Does anyone do the Black Friday thing?

I used to get up early and go with my father... I never really needed anything. I just likes seeing the chaos. If i saw a deal and no huge line, I would pick something up.

Last year I gave that up. Store have been opening just too early and I would miss the chaos by the time I would get there. Also I'm kind of ticked off about these stores opening ON Thanksgiving right after supper time... and the people that patronize these places! I really think people in retail need a break (my mother is a manager at Sears). So I won't be supporting that model.

No way. No how. NEVER EVER!!
I am strong, because I've been weak.
I am fearless, because I've been afraid.
I am wise, because I've been foolish.

I may actually do that. With people out of the office, it's my chance to upgrade things without people bitching about downtime.

I didn't go out (actually, I was working all night the night before), but this weekend I did snap up a great deal on a 27 in IPS monitor. I bought the exact same one for work for $420 earlier in the year.
$300 couldn't be passed up for my home photography machine.

Anyone else get in on any deals?
