I haven't seen it cheaper than that. I usually pay too much because I just stop wherever I happen to be when I'm running low. Sam's is the cheapest at 3.72 but I'm not willing to wait in line to save the $1.50 or less per tank.

For anyone who likes to shop around for the best price, Gas Buddy is a very useful app. Especially on a trip out of town when things are more of a surprise. I use it a lot. In fact, that app is not listing anything as cheap as you found it, Matt, within 10 miles of me right now except at Sams and BJs. Wonder if the price has gone up since you purchased.......good find!

Do you want a car wash with that? ;)

I found that Gas Buddy often misses some stations, like Byrne Dairy and some Costals... but it does get the main gas company stations. I don't really care at what point I fill up in. But it's nice to know my neighborhood is competitive for this highly pricey region.

$3.74 is about the lowest I've seen around here, been steady at that for a few days now. There is one station with a cash price of $3.71 I think, but I find paying cash for gas now so 20th century. Plus, you have to walk in, wait in line, pay, and of course, you over pay because you don't know how much it's going to be, go back out, pump the gas, go back in, wait in line, get your change.... sheesh.

Filled up for 3.83 in Chili.

prices have gone up... you know because <insert Exxon's paid industry analysts' reasons here>

<list of illogical reasons>
1... refinery is switching over to summer blend... you know... in the middle of winter.
2... refinery caught fire... because a 2% reduction in output always equals a 20% increase in price.
3... because over one week, China and India have birthed 400 million more children and they all bought cars.
4... because OPEC has cut production (not true, OPEC capacity doubled in 2012 and is set to add 25% in 2013)
