B&L (Rochester) contact lens solution... and Mentholatum (Buffalo) rub and chapstick (which is EXTREMELY popular - probably because they believe in that homeopathic garbage there).

Tickets and certificates are a great idea to keep it local.

For your sporting fan:

Simply Certificates moved out of the Rochester area for some reason, but these certificates are good and available for the Buffalo, Syracuse, Utica, and Albany areas. Certificates are good for restaurants, golf, salons, ski slopes and more.

A GREAT gift for the photog/hiker/outdoorsy type is...

I have been buying the large packs of the plain Chobani and adding my own fruit in the form of the light pie filling.
It ends up being less sugar, half the price, in the portions I want, and the I feel the comstock pie filling fruit is much more pastry-like and familiar to me. Plus...apple pie yogurt works well.

Not sure what youre paying for large packs, but I believe Tops has Chobani on sale this week 10 for $10.

Hmmm......you've given me an idea. I'll get the plain and add garlic to it. For a softer, gentler garlic flavor than what I've been preparing.

Everyone around me is sneezing and hacking up a lung, so I've been throwing about 6 cloves of garlic into whatever I eat. Not only will it fight off the virus, it will keep everyone far enough away from me that I won't be within range of being sneezed on, coughed on or otherwise infected. :nanana:

So far, so good. (insert dragon breath smilie here)
I am strong, because I've been weak.
I am fearless, because I've been afraid.
I am wise, because I've been foolish.
