Well, my goodness!
I'll be coming your way in May, my dear.
Maybe we can finally connect after several failed attempts!
I'd like to try it all!
Yum, yum, yum! ;)

Yes please! Some nice food porn there

Thanks everyone! My folks got me a cookbook for pies, tarts and quiche. The neighbors told me the other day that that blueberry pie was the best tasting they'd ever had! (blush!) My husband said the raspberry rhubarb galette was the best thing I've made to date!

I'm working on a cookbook (doing photos for everything we love to make and doing it through shutterfly- we hate going through a folder full of loose papers to find our recipes) and already the darn thing is like $80! I keep wanting to add more recipes and photos, now I have family who want them (I give them calendars every year of my photos) but I can't afford to do that many!

Oh and Kelly, we'll be around all but one full day of May. We don't like being around campus during graduation, so we'll be home almost all month, meaning we can meet any time! I'll just be puttering around the house most days.

A few dinners to catch up on.

Basil Peanut Chicken at Mamasans - Looks good, but wasn't. Noodles were a gluey mess and ruined it.
Image

Thai Spice Chicken - look at the chopsticks to get a sense of scale. Deeeelicious! The plate was at least 18 inches across. And yes. I ate it all. Thai Spice, Arlington, NY.
Image

Just some pork and leek dumplings with sauce - at home. Home grown basil for garnish.
Image

Dinner at a friend's for Mardi Gras. Cheesburgers, tarragon red potato salad (I made) and mac and cheese.....etc.
