If you need any tips ... Ray said to tell you he would be glad to show you how it's done. He is a league bowler ... that is all he does besides game and work. :)

When I die I want my remains scattered out to sea.
I don't want to be cremated though. So, Shana will have to pull a "Weekend at Bernie's" to get me onto a cruise liner and them dump me overboard. Then let the sharks and barracudas handle the "scattering" part.

Insomnia can be torture. That is if you let it get to you. I have been thinking it is a problem for me. Both mentally and physically. The act of trying to sleep when you can't is worse than not sleeping itself.
I think I am coming to accept it. My neck and back burn with pain. My doctor says it's stress. Possibly. My mind is worse off. It has a mind of its own lately.
I know I won't do anything but twist and turn. I'm getting used the daily wait loss. I fit into some old pants. That's good news, isn't it?
I've got the whole night planned. A few movies; a bit of a book; some time looking at old photos; listening to some songs that used to mean something. It should keep my mind's mind off of things.

:( I know that sleep aids come with their own set of issues, but have you asked you doctor about something that could help with the underlying cause of the insomnia - so that your body and mind CAN relax and maintain a healthy sleep routine?
I am strong, because I've been weak.
I am fearless, because I've been afraid.
I am wise, because I've been foolish.

I'm a horribly light sleeper myself. Whenever I have a worse than usual night, sometimes I fall into the trap of worrying about how much sleep I'm not going to get that night, which makes me even more awake. It's a self perpetuating cycle. I can sometimes get out of it by thinking about "nothing". Its hard to explain but literally focus on the blackness that's in front of your eyes, and the fact that there's "nothing" there.
What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lives within us. ~Henry David Thoreau
