Kelly,
your tree must be an older one. Mine dosen't get the seed pods yet, :( but I had a lot of purple flowers this year. :D
I've only had mine for three years and it's about 6 feet tall.

I think it's been in for about 5 or 6 years and I don't remember seeing the pods either until the last few. They'll come! :wink:

And it's funny, the majority of the pods seem to form in closer to the "center" of the tree - down low. They are very sparse farther on out the branches for some reason.
