A mile or so up the Ausable River from Wedge Brook Falls. Also on a tributary stream flowing in from the northwest. It may possibly get it's name from the fact that the Ausable gets really calm and flat, almost like a beaver pond right near here. This falls is in kind of an enclosed area so I couldn't get a view backed away from the falls enough to capture any of the surrounding landscape.
