Beaver Meadow Falls

Postby cbobcat49 » Wed Jul 30, 2008 7:06 pm

A mile or so up the Ausable River from Wedge Brook Falls. Also on a tributary stream flowing in from the northwest. It may possibly get it's name from the fact that the Ausable gets really calm and flat, almost like a beaver pond right near here. This falls is in kind of an enclosed area so I couldn't get a view backed away from the falls enough to capture any of the surrounding landscape.

What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lives within us. ~Henry David Thoreau

I like the rock on this one... nice and chaotic.
