I don't see it. maybe it resolved itself. It loads the full size image and then when the pages is done loading, it will shrink them down to fit the frame. Maybe the page was having trouble finishing loading. They are all great picks by the way.

We have a winner!
Yet another tough month... so many amazing entries.
But one early entry stood out. An abstract.
Leaves on the ground, crumbled and overlapping in a cold puddle. Nothing we traditionally think about when we think of photographing fall color. But it works. It works quite well to convey color, patterns, chaos, and familiarity.
Congrats on the consecutive win and your 8th star!

Why...that's a really nice surprise today, Matt. I didn't know what you meant about consecutive wins...until I saw that you just picked September's winner too. I thought I must have missed a month. I'm really pleased that you liked this one...it is my favourite leaf photo too. Thanks so much for the "trophy". :)

Good going, Mikell! I really like that shot a lot and found myself going back to it many times as well! Congratulations!

probably one of the more difficult ones to judge. I really liked Mikell's other one .. the vine going up the tree.
Kelly's road dividers stood out. David's Attica Falls is practically painted in beautiful orange leaves.
Chris had a neat symmetrical shot with bare trees in front of a multicolored mountain, with the colors gradually shifting to blue. Really nice.
Phillip has some vibrant shots that probably could sell as posters, especially the leaves in the sky.

And then, of course, all my photos are simply perfect.
