It's been a long time since I've visited here. Seeing your pretty shot makes me want to visit in the fall. Welcome, Roger!rwelch715 wrote:Taughannock Falls near Ithaca

I'm in the minority with you, Kelly. For me, it's more about the art in these challenges. If I'm that intrigued by a particular location, I'll just ask about it.Kelly wrote:Obviously I'm in the minority by a long shot. It's nothing new. So be it.
It's never going to be required, but if you want to post info - do. If you want more information and it's not there, all you have to do is ask.
There. Lettuce all go back to wrapping up this challenge and getting ready for the next one.

Between answering doorbells and handing out chocolate bars, I'm editing photos I took earlier this evening in my front yard....on this last day of October, the light was fantastic around dusk and the rain saturated everything with more than water...great colour!

Very good colors and photos Mikell.
To all about the location:
Thanks Matt for the added detail. The settings are great to know too. I typically shoot f11+ and somewhere in the 1/4th and slower.
I'm glad I mentioned it, I wasn't serious about the rule thing, however I do like learning where the places are. Just like the great photo of Taughannock for anyone that did not know they quickly learned.
And thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts on the subject.

Thanks Des and Brenda....appreciate the nice comments.
I agree Matt... I think this was one of the best challenges recently...I love so many of the photos submitted...all "winners" as far as I'm concerned. It was a great photo subject.
