A note from the NYFalls.com founder:
Due to a company restructuring, I will be losing my full time job soon. Although it saddens me to leave the company that I have helped build up for the last 14 years to the success it is today, I am looking forward to new opportunities. I am known for my technical, managerial, and creative abilities, and I hope to utilize all of those talents in my next career. I put together a résumé outlining my skills and projects. Please have a look. Although I am open to any management position, I would like to leverage my experience and success with NYFalls.com and NYHistoric.com into a career in the WNY travel/tourism industry. If you know of a company that would benefit from someone with talents and experience, please spread the word. Thank you for your help and support.

Really great, Kyle! So I have to ask - did you spot them on your own or did you have help? I still have never spotted one on my own. :-(

I went there early on a Saturday morning last year around this time and the year before that too and didn't see anything. Gotta try again this year!

The first one you couldnt miss. He/she was back where the trail loops around just before the blind when heading in a counter clockwise direction. Same tree as last year, same branch, same owl?

The second one someone pointed out to me as I was heading out.

Meh. I made a promise to photograph fruits, vegetables, fish and weirdos. I'll have to see if I can get out of it.

Great finds Kyle,

I was thinking to make a post on this board to let you know that they are heading through. First ones that I have spotted this year, that warm front moving out of the south last night helped them along.

I was able to locate 3 Saw Whets this morning. Boy every time I come across one, I still get that rush.

Got a few pictures, but they are at home on the computer.

I plan on trying to get there this morning to take a walk through. I am hoping that there will be more than just the three that were spotted today.

Also hoping to get there on Saturday morning with my son and nephew. Hope to see a few of you there.

Had a chance to walk through the woods this morning with hopes of seeing a few Saw Whets, spotted 1. Pretty high up in the tree, about 17 ft. up, hugged up nice and close to the trunk. No pictures of that one

Here's a photo of each of the three from yesterday.
