To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams.

You are getting some really great shots Bill! I especially like the distinguished couple walking with each other. Not to be cliche but I could see that as a poster with a nice poem about life and love printed on it.
“There’s an inconsequentiality to our lives that living in the wilderness shows up. Mountain are real, they set their limits, they set ours. They expose us, make us vulnerable and strong at the same time. “

Thanks Kyle...this last couple seemed bored with one another...maybe they have just settled in and stay together out of convenience.

Yes, the body language is much different with them.

I always feel a little awkward taking candids of strangers, but I figure that they worst that could happen is that they ask me to delete it if they really don't want to be photographed, right?

The first one I took at school (Geneseo), the others are from Charlotte Beach. None of them were taken within the last year, but with all of the festivals going on now I'm sure I'll be out to get more!

Those are great, Danielle - and I was hoping someone would bring up the fact that photographing strangers is awkward! I never know if I should point the camera right at people and hope they don't notice.....hide behind a tree......

Anyone willing to share their approach?
I am strong, because I've been weak.
I am fearless, because I've been afraid.
I am wise, because I've been foolish.

Same here...I didn't want to ask though either.
