Here are a few more from the weekend....
I was standing in the middle of no-where taking some photos of the morning fog, when I spotted this Heron approaching. It appeared from behind this bush that I just happened to be photographing. It came in low above the water right towards me then slowly turned and landed some yards away. I took about 15 or so shots, some very good ones. The only problem was I was shooting right in to the sun, so most have nasty sun spots in the corner. I will have to play around with them and see if I can edit them out.
Here are a few that were not in the sun.
After it landed, it noticed me standing there, trying not to move.....but my 100-400 starts to get heavy after a few minutes, so I had to move and off it went.
It wasn't the prettiest Heron I've seen
