Hi Crazy,
Beautiful pictures.
I spend a lot of time at the Plotter Kill Preserve and I'm interested in the names of things. I've heard the names "Cascade falls," "Step falls," "Jacob's ladder," and "Sargeant falls," referring to the small falls and groups of falls in the western part of the preserve. You have the westernmost grouping as Jacob's Ladder? The Dunn book is ambiguous if I remember right. How did you figure out the location?
Hope you can help me with this.

That last one, the vee shaped falls may be Sargeant's falls, referred to by Catherine Mary Kielb in her geology thesis.

I traveled out to the Plotterkill Preserve yesterday. Great weather to go but my timing was off a little for pics. The river bed has changed alot due to the recent high water that went thru this place. The waterlevels were lower that expected due to all the rain recently but it was ok. Here is a few that I liked after viewing many that I took.

Thanks LGD! I saw you had posted a while back about the Rennsalaer Tech Park waterfalls. I found those the other day but it was late when I finally found the trail in. I plan on going back after this coming rain. Its a nice secluded spot over there, many leaves in the stream bed also. I hope to pull a few nice shots out of there.

great shots again, Eddie.
I love the second one most with the leaves laying there on the edge of the falls
